TIP Weight Bags

TIP: A conservator we know says she uses our weight bags like rolling pins when she needs to flatten textiles. Hand steam the textile first to apply humidity. Gently block it. Then roll the weight bags over it. If it's a delicate textile, put a protective layer over the fabric first.
