Flexible snake weights are the perfect solution for gently holding open your delicate books and preventing page curling during research and conservation work. (Our resident seamstress suggests using them to hold down paper dress patterns!) These string weights are constructed from flexible metal chain cased in smooth white cotton tubing. Our snakes are 5/32" in diameter - chunkier than the others out there. They're 36" long, sold as a pair, and housed neatly in our snappy little flip-top box. Need a shorter length? Snake weights are easily trimmed with a pair of scissors.
