Storage mounts, moving mounts, dust-free storage, mannequins, textile display....whatever you can think of, these “working fabrics” are a great help. We offer a selection of various muslins, flannels, stockinettes and twill tapes. The muslin, flannel and twill are unbleached, undyed, sizing-free and natural colored. The stockinette is 100% polyester in two colors: snowy white and beautiful deep black.
White Polyester Stockinette

We offer stockinette in the standard White.
(We're working on getting the Black back on the shelves.)
Stockinette is great for covering mannequins and many other functional storage uses. It is 100% polyester and has a nice "slip" that helps ease clothing and fabrics onto forms. All sizes stretch to about twice their width. The white stockinette is offered in 25 yard rolls in 3", 6", 8" and 10" widths.
Some rolls may contain splices.

A lovely unbleached, unsized 100% cotton twill tape, finer and softer than others we've found. Very useful for making storage mounts, for packing, shipping and for a host of other installation and storage needs.

We have a 3" width in stock. Perfect solution for use in hanging quilts!
Currently there are two different lengths:
3" --- 36 yard rolls
1/4", 1/2", 3/4" & 1" ----50 yard rolls

Flannel

100% cotton flannel, unbleached and unsized fabric, for protective padding or 'tooth' to help hold textiles of any size in place. Offered in two weights, both of which can be glued or stapled to a wedge or tube for textile positioning and protection from the substrate.
- The 4 ounce flannel is double-napped, with a very nice tooth. 46" wide.
- The 8 ounce flannel is napped on one side only, the other side is a twill pattern. It is yummy, creamy stuff, quite thick and should be used where more padding and more tooth is required.
The flannels are sold in pre-cut 5 yard lengths.
So if, for example, you place an order for 2, we will ship (2) five-yard pieces.

100% cotton muslin, unbleached and unsized, washed and pre-shrunk for textile mounts, covering mannequins, internal forms, etc. Offered in 68 square thread-count fabric. This weight has a very nice drape, similar to batiste, and is completely resin free.
The muslins are sold in pre-cut 5 yard pieces.
(So if you place an order, say, for 2 we will ship (2) five-yard pieces.)
