The vertical support rod is padded with our 2:1 Polyolefin Heat-Shrink tubing. However, the horizontal sections have been sprayed with three light coats of clear Krylon instead because the fit to the artifact was such a close one.

The supports are those hard-to-see little green painted tabs where the arrows are.
