This finished mount has been sprayed with three light coats of clear Krylon instead of using any of our other paddings. That is because both the mount and object are very small and delicate.

Note the use of blue paint on the front of the tabs. Painting-out will help hide the mount and often help locate the artifact's position on the mount. Click on the disk to see an up-close of one of the tabs.
